Waxler Immigration Law, LLC
Portland, Oregon
Today I am writing about a colleague and friend of mine, Sherilyn Waxler. Sherilyn, who is married to a law school classmate, has an outstanding reputation in our legal community as a competent litigator, and a zealous advocate for immigrants’ rights.
Sherilyn handles a wide array of immigration matters, including Citizenship and naturalization, Family based visas, Waivers, Visas for Crime victims and victims of domestic violence,
Employment-based visas, Deportation and removal, and Detention.
I think one aspect that gives Sherilyn a greater connection to her clients and her work is her personal history abroad. From her website “Although she has been a U.S. citizen since birth, she has personal experience as an immigrant. She was born in Australia, grew up in England, and returned to the United States in 1993. She attended an International School in England with people from all over the world. The experience of living as an expatriate has left Sherilyn with a passion for helping people with their immigration issues.” Like Sherilyn, my being born abroad has left me with a deep and abiding appreciation of all this country has to offer, and the greatness of the American dream.
Sherilyn is on the short list of referrals our firm makes, and we happily send our clients, friends and family to her for advice and representation in immigration matters.
