Today, I am writing about a friend and colleague of mine, Brian Wayson. His law firm, Brown + Wayson, LLC, handles social security disability (SSD), supplemental security income (SSI), disabled widow/widower (DWB) and childhood disability (CDB) benefits.

Today, I am writing about Oregon City criminal defense attorney, Ben Kim. I recently had the excellent opportunity to serve on a jury in a DUII case in Clackamas County. Ben represented the defendant in a two day jury trial. Jury service was an illuminating experience for me, but getting to watch a skilled and experienced lawyer engaged in his craft was particularly educational for me. Ben’s best attributes in the trial were that he was imminently at ease with the jury, and built a nice rapport with the jurors. He also broke through lawyer stereotypes of untempered braggadocio, and instead came across as sincere and genuine.

Today I am writing about a friend and colleague of mine, Jason Skelton. Jason is a top notch personal injury attorney with the Portland, Oregon law firm Heiling Dwyer & Associates. Today I am writing about a colleague and friend of mine, Sherilyn Waxler. Sherilyn, who is married to a law school classmate, has an outstanding reputation in our legal community as a competent litigator, and a zealous advocate for immigrants’ rights.
